The old Seward Luggage Factory is one of the oldest residential neighborhoods in Petersburg. In fact, it’s so old that it’s actually historic. Recently, however, the Seward Luggage Factory has become a great place for the average Petersburg citizen to inhabit; that’s because the Luggage Factory was converted into High Street Lofts. Now, the neighborhood is a happening place–with Petersburg VA condominiums (many of which are single level) that essentially merge the comfort of modern living with that old time feeling. The building and the neighborhood do indeed look and feel historic, but the amenities are anything but that. Living in historic Petersburg—specifically the High Street Lofts region–is truly the best of both worlds.
